Qualification requirements

Open and fund a new personal Associated Bank checking account by September 30, 2026. The minimum opening deposit is $25 for Access Checking and $100 for Balanced or Choice Checking. Receive recurring direct deposits totaling at least $500 within 90 days of opening and maintain qualifying average daily deposit balances during days 31-90. Listed tiers are $300 for $1,000-$4,999.99, $400 for $5,000-$9,999.99, and $600 for $10,000 or more.

Fees and costs

Access Checking has no monthly maintenance fee. Balanced costs $9 monthly, waived with a $1,000 daily balance, $500 direct or mobile deposits per statement cycle, $2,500 eligible combined deposits, or a qualifying HSA/investment relationship. Choice costs $25 monthly, waived with $10,000 eligible combined deposits or a qualifying HSA/investment relationship. New Balanced and Choice accounts have a two-statement-cycle maintenance-fee grace period. Balanced paper statements cost $4 monthly with exemptions. Other service and overdraft fees can apply.

Availability
