The official offer terms say the cash bonus offer is available to individuals age 18 or older who fulfill the requirements. Citi also says the offer is limited to customers who are U.S. citizens or resident aliens who present a valid Form W-9.
What to verify
- Investing involves risk, including market losses; SIPC membership does not protect against investment losses.
- The bonus requires a multi-month funding and maintenance sequence, and withdrawals or transfers can reduce the eligible amount.
- Margin loans can magnify losses and may not be suitable for every investor.
